I would drive more than a few miles to see the right concert at the Red Rock Amphitheater outside Denver.
I don't consider myself afraid of heights, but with limited oxygen at 12,000 feet, I was feeling more than a little anxious driving up Pikes Peak. No guard rails and hairpin turns that seem to launch into the heavens were more than enough to raise my pulse!
