Without a doubt, Norway is the most strikingly beautiful place we have ever been. We would love to go back for a longer visit and exploration. We've considered that a visit in the dark winter months could be an unparalleled experience!

Tromso, Norway is a few hundred miles inside the Arctic Circle. Despite its northern latitude, its proximity to the ocean jet stream helps to keep winters relatively moderate along the coast.

While admiring these pristine little villages, we had to wonder what would winter be like? Remote, cold and dark in the winter, with the sun never completely rising for months, it's a way of life that's hard to imagine.
