Visiting San Diego County
San Diego County is comprised of the City of San Diego, with it's many interesting neighborhoods, as well as many smaller communities. Many visitors focus their time in San Diego County visiting the well-known tourist attractions but it's also a perfect place to explore village by village and neighborhood by neighborhood. Here's a guide for exploring the beachside communities along the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 101) which runs north-south, parallel to Highway 5, along the ocean, as well as a few inland spots.
